Get Evaluating
More than ever, it is important to evidence the impact of our work. We need to be able to show how what we do makes a difference to access funding and support, but also to help shape our service and know that we are doing a good job.
Smart Play Network has created an introductory workshop for those looking to ‘get smart’ and understand evaluation and it’s ever changing uses and terminology. This workshop is a one day interactive session that is aimed at those who have limited experience in formally evaluating the services they deliver and support.
The workshop will include:
Introduction to Evaluation: Why do we evaluate?
Outcomes and Indicators: What they are and how to use them
Evidencing and Reporting: What a good report looks like
Introduction to Methods: Things to consider in choosing and using methods
The Big Picture: Using logic models to convey the impact of your service
In coming together to discuss our evaluation hang ups and un-answered questions it is our hope that everyone will leave with not only the skills and confidence to get started but some new contacts to support them and share successes along the way.
Costs will vary depending on location.
